The story of Reputation First Title Agency:

Our story begins with my parents, Chuck and Carol Cassie. Years ago, mom and dad started a title company in Livonia with a handful of great employees. For nearly two decades they grew their business on a foundation of service. At its height, the company had over one hundred employees - including me! The company focus was on service, working hard, having fun and building a great team. Mom and dad understood that a dedication to service was the key to Success. From time to time I talk with former employees of the company. When I do, there are always great memories, good stories and a pride that comes from feeling that they were a part of something special.

A few years ago, mom and dad sold their title company. I stayed in the title industry because it is my passion. Over time, I noticed that there was a lack of good service and a general failure to focus on the customer. So, I decided to open Reputation First Title Agency and hand select employees that are experienced in title and known for great customer service. I wanted people who go the extra mile and who will work hard to make your good transaction even better or solve the issues of even the most challenging transactions.

The title industry is a service industry. Let's face it, the average person doesn't understand title insurance and you rarely hear about our industry unless it is a negative experience. But all that is about to change!

Our team has a wealth of experience. We employ professionals with an average of fourteen years of examining, abstracting, processing, underwriting and closing experience. We can close commercial and residential transactions including short sale, foreclosure and new construction. We have our own in-house counsel with nearly fifteen years of underwriting. Whatever your transaction, we will do it right the first time!

We are underwritten by First American Title Insurance Company, one of the largest underwriters in the country, so your policies are protected by their financial strength. That financial strength coupled with our dedication for personal service is a recipe for Success - yours! Your home is the most important purchase you or your client will ever make, we protect that investment with a focus on each and every customer's needs.
